This page exists so the limits of what RemoteKnack does are written down in one place, readable by an applicant, an employer, or anyone reviewing our advertising. It is deliberately blunt about where the risk in home-based work sits, because vagueness there is what lets bad actors operate.
RemoteKnack publishes positions described to us by employers, collects applications from people in Australia, and introduces one party to the other. We are not an employer, we do not operate payroll, and we do not manage anyone work. Take up a position and your relationship is with that employer alone.
We will not tell you that you are certain to be hired, that a listing is guaranteed to remain open, or that applying leads to a particular income. This site carries no placement totals, no success percentages and no ratings, because none of those can be checked by the person reading them. If you see a figure like that attached to our name somewhere, report it and we will get it removed.
Applying is free and so is being introduced. We will never ask for a deposit, for equipment to be bought through us, for credits or coins, for an account top-up, or for money to be sent before wages are released. Real work does not require the worker to pay first. If a demand like that arrives carrying our name, send nothing and write to careers@remoteknack.com so we can act on it.
Before starting, ask the employer to confirm in writing the registered name of the business, what the work involves, the rate, the hours expected, and when payment is made. A short written message covering those points is enough. If an employer avoids putting them in writing, take that seriously; you may decline and tell us why, and we would rather hear it than not.
Every listing comes from what the employer has told us. We add no earnings figures of our own, we do not overstate how easy a position is, and we do not present a role as more secure than it is. Where a listing and an advertisement conflict, we fix the inaccurate one rather than leaning on a general disclaimer.
The form collects your name, age, gender, nationality, country of residence, email address and phone number. Those reach the employer behind the listing you answered, and the providers that operate the site. They are kept for twelve months from your last contact. The privacy page covers the rest, including how to have them corrected or removed.
Visitors connecting from certain countries outside our hiring markets cannot open this site. The check looks only at the country reported for the connection. It is not recorded against any applicant and has no bearing on how an application is treated.
There is no analytics property and no advertising conversion tag running on this site at present. If one is added, this page and the privacy page will say so beforehand, and applicant names and phone numbers will not be fed into advertising measurement.
Adults only. Whether you are entitled to work in Australia is a matter for you and the employer to establish, and the employer carries that obligation.
Applications are forwarded as they arrive. We do not sort or reject them by gender, nationality or background. The form carries those fields because employers ask for them, not because we use them to screen anyone.
Forward any message, advertisement or employer approach that looks suspect to careers@remoteknack.com. We look into them, and a listing that proves to be a problem comes down rather than staying up while we deliberate.
Complaints go to the same address and are read and answered by a person. Nothing on this page limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or the Privacy Act 1988, and you are free to take a matter further if our response does not settle it.
