These terms govern your use of remoteknack.com and everything that follows from applying through it. If you use the site, they apply. If you would rather they did not, do not apply.
The site is operated by RemoteKnack, reachable at careers@remoteknack.com, working with applicants located in Australia. We, us and our refer to RemoteKnack throughout.
A listing is a position published on this site. The employer is the business that would engage you. An applicant is a person who submits the form. An introduction is our act of forwarding an application to an employer with that applicant agreement.
We publish positions, receive applications, and introduce applicants to employers. That is all. RemoteKnack is not your employer, does not run payroll, does not roster anyone, and does not supervise work. Applying creates no employment relationship with us. Any working arrangement is formed between you and the employer.
Listings describe what an employer has told us at the time of publication. Employers fill roles, alter them, or pull them without always informing us first. We therefore give no assurance that a listing is still live when you read it, and an introduction is not a job offer.
Submit the form, and WhatsApp opens with a prepared message. You press send yourself; without that step your application waits in the queue unread. If WhatsApp is not available to you, write to careers@remoteknack.com and we will process your application by email instead.
There is no fee for applying and no fee for being introduced. We will not ask you to buy a kit, place a deposit, purchase credits or coins, pay to unlock a listing, or transfer funds before wages are released. Any such demand made in our name is fraudulent, and we want to know about it.
The employer decides what you earn, when you are paid, and the hours you work. Before your first shift, get the following from the employer in writing: the registered business name, the work involved, the rate, the expected hours, and the payment schedule. Do not treat anything we have summarised as a substitute for that.
If an advertisement says one thing and this site says another, report it and we will correct whichever is wrong. We do not rely on a broad statement here to override a specific claim made in an advertisement.
The privacy page explains how your details are handled. Submitting the form means you accept that we will hold them for that purpose and introduce you to the relevant employer.
Access from certain countries outside our hiring markets is blocked. This is a condition of using the site, not a judgement about any individual, and it exists because the roles advertised here are for people located in Australia.
Do not submit someone else details, do not provide false information, do not interfere with the site or attempt unauthorised access, do not harvest its contents automatically, and do not use it to advertise your own goods or services. Applications in breach may be discontinued without further correspondence.
The wording, layout, images and code here belong to us or are used under licence. You may view and print pages for your own use. You may not republish them or assemble a competing site from them. What you submit remains yours; you grant permission for it to be used solely to introduce you to an employer.
WhatsForm supplies the application form, WhatsApp carries messaging, and Cloudflare provides hosting, the country check and email routing. Each operates under its own terms and its own reliability, which we do not control.
We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee it. Maintenance, provider incidents, and matters outside our control may interrupt the site.
Nothing here excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee or right that cannot lawfully be excluded, including those under the Australian Consumer Law. Where a term conflicts with such a right, the right prevails and the remainder stands.
Subject to the paragraph above, we are not responsible for an employer decision to hire or not hire, for how an employer conducts itself, for wages paid or unpaid, or for indirect or consequential loss such as lost earnings or lost opportunity. We answer for our own conduct, not for that of a business we introduced you to.
Where something published here is wrong or out of date, we correct it once made aware. Tell us and it will be fixed.
Supply accurate details, be straightforward with the employer about what hours you can keep, and tell us if your circumstances change so that we are not putting you forward for something that no longer suits.
Neither party breaches these terms through an event genuinely outside its control, including network failure, the act of a public authority, or a natural event.
If a provision is held unenforceable, it is severed and the remaining provisions continue in effect.
These terms, together with the privacy page and the compliance page, constitute the entire agreement between you and us concerning this site, replacing anything discussed previously.
The laws of New South Wales, Australia govern these terms, and the courts of New South Wales have jurisdiction over disputes arising from them.
Send notices to careers@remoteknack.com. A notice is treated as received on the next business day.
These terms may be amended. The version published at the time of your use is the one that applies, and the date above shows when it last changed. Questions go to careers@remoteknack.com, Monday to Saturday, 9am–7pm.
